Charles R. Guzman, M.S., CCC-SLP is a Speech Language Pathologist Specialist in Phoenix, Arizona. He graduated with honors in 1974 with a Master of Arts in Speech Pathology. He began his practice in 1974 in a variety of settings. Mr. Guzman is the CEO of Innovative Rehabilitation, LLC, which he established in 2013. With many years of experience, Innovative Rehabilitation provides speech therapy services and diagnostic swallowing studies to patients in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing facilities and private homes.
Our speech therapy approach is collaborative, meaning we work closely with our clients and their families to create custom treatment plans. We believe that communication requires teamwork, and we encourage our clients to take an active role in their care.

A geriatric speech-language pathologist has expertise in managing chronic conditions related to communication, cognition, and swallowing. These professionals evaluate an individual's speech, language, cognitive abilities, communication skills, and swallowing skills to diagnose any speech, language, or swallowing disorders. During the evaluation, the SLP will assess various categories such as the pronunciation of speech sounds, physical capability for speech production, voice quality, speech fluency, and comprehension of sounds and words.
